Over the course of my time at Next/Now, I've played a substantial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the brand. Designing a brand new identity in my second year, leading strategy and implementation in my fourth, and capturing case studies throughout, Next/Now's brand and marketing initiatives together make one of my most comprehensive projects I have participated in to date.
BRANDING
Looking to transform the company from a tech-driven agency to a design-forward studio, myself alongside 3 other designers and our ECD completely revamped Next/Now's identity. Playing a primary role in logo, typography, colors, and iconography, and secondary roles on website, photography, and deck design, I helped to create the identity you see below.

Starting as just an editor for social, I now shoot, direct, photograph, edit, and copywrite all of our new projects. While certainly difficult at time to juggle it all, I am incredibly grateful for the insight it has gained me into the bigger picture and understanding how to direct projects at scale.
FINDING EFFICIENCIES
Being a one-man department is not easy, but I have found atomation tools and the recent improvements in AI tools like ChatGPT and Adobe Creative Tools have allowed me to make this a reality.
Screenshot of an automation I made using make.com to auto-announce in Slack each time a new post goes up. While seemingly small, this (alongside buffer) allows me to schedule our content months in advance without worrying about the internal push reminder to increase engagement.
